Website Critiques
Being a programmer and a webmaster, I somehow feel that gives me the right to bash on other people’s websites. In addition, according to the Webmaster Conditional Worthiness Avouchment Handbook (3rd edition), it allows me to officially say which sites are extraordinary.
Going off-topic for a second, this is probably one of the funniest websites I have ever seen in my life. I first saw it a few years ago and to this day I’m not sure if they’re joking or serious: www.kwota.net/cdc/. Whenever I’m feeling down I know I can always browse this website and be cheered up instantly. Some of my favorite quotes from this site are “IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH FINISHED PROJECT YOU TAKE IT AND PAY US. WE DO NOT CONSULT WITH CLIENTS – WE UNLEASH THE PROJECT” and “THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING ELITIST AND BEING ELITE. WE ARE BOTH”. I’m laughing pretty hard right now, and if you visited the site then hopefully you are, too. Good stuff, good stuff.
